I find they have really good quality plain tees. It's literally the only thing I buy from there. They have a nice selection of colors too. It's not cheap but its not super expensive either. American Apparel's plain Ts are the absolute best in my opinion.
They both feel and look great. We use them all the time for company shirts. Custom fit Ralph Lauren t shirts fit me really well. But that may not apply for you. Quality is good but make sure to try things on before making a decision. All in all, not too expensive for an article of clothing you wear a lot. I was told it would last and hold it's shape for years to come. I wear it as often as I can it looks so damn good.
I've got maybe 20 plain t-shirts from there, ranging from plain cotton to triblends. Also, being 6'1 and 63kg, I really appreciate the slim fit, which don't require exercised triceps to look good in.
I own about five of them and am wearing one as I'm typing this. They are pretty thin, but stay warmer than cotton tees IMO. They will tear just a bit easier than a thick-ish cotton tee. I've had great experiences with Eddie Bauer's legend wash shirt. They fit really well and the material is nice. Wide range of colors too.
With codes they're pretty reasonable. I'm very surprised nobody has mentioned this, but the consensus is that the absolute best is by Real McCoy. But they are expensive. If you haven't tried on Club Monaco's t-shirts, I'd give them a shot. They are my favorite t-shirts. They fit me perfectly especially around my arms. Good quality too and don't have any shrinkage in the wash. But for all Swedes I can strongly recommend buying Bläck t-shirts.
My absolute favourites are Sunspel for slim fit and sizing up on Filippa K for not-so-slim fit, but they're pricey. Hey man, sunspel are the best. Hand made and feel great. Regularly cut no frills just great product [aunspel] sunspel. If price isn't a concern have a look at sea island cotton t-shirts. The only company I know that do them in the UK is sunspel.
I've heard good things about sea island cotton. But only from people who can buy them without becoming bankrupt. They're usually used for screen printed tees but you can find the blanks online. Next Level Apparel on Amazon. Fitted, good quality, and cheap. They also have a slightly more expensive premium version as well. Both are excellent in quality and fit. I don't wear plain t-shirts, but I love Nautica's undershirts. I imagine their standard t-shirts would be just as good. I have about 30 Uniqlo pima tees of various colors.
They have really solid construction, good collars, and wash well. Better than my polo or Armani exchange tees by far. Wolf vs Goat pretty much. They have great fits and use the most interesting fabric of any T shirt maker I know of. They can be worn in Sweltering Miami weather yet still can insulate. They're thin and drape amazingly. They also made limited edition t shirts this summer from their Italian factory. Mauro makes by far some of the most interesting t shirts. It's just a shame he's so bad at advertising.

I'd also recommend Kirkland tees from Costco as mentioned by someone else in this post. American Apparel for example. I find that Kirklands are cut like a sail. I'd consider myself between average to built to be honest.

The other is my bath mat. Use every part of the buffalo, y'know? My other shirts get donated because I stop wearing them before they fall apart. They fit well and the material is nice.
The standard heather t-shirts are nice and thick and the roll t-shirts are a bit thinner. I love my Velva Sheen tee. If you can buy TTS they have an awesome drape to them. I just assumed it was a true collab when I ordered everything, then when it came to light that it wasnt I felt like my girlfriend had cheated on me.
